Week 39 - Star Light, Star Bright

For as long as people have existed on this earth, they have been looking at the stars in wonder and amazement; even early man connected the dots to form pictures and mythology that ran their lives. With increased technology, we began to wonder what is beyond that which we can only see with the naked eye (with the assistance of very expensive telescopes). Taking a more creative approach, John Cusack uses his knowledge of constellations to hit on women. (Side Note: If you want to try Cusack's Serendipity approach, just find a few freckles on your intended wooie... Chances are they will immitate some random bunch of stars in the sky.)

Can you find all the constellations on this Munny? Probably not, seeing as you are just looking at a flat picture from the front-ish, but some include The Big Dipper, Orion and his belt, Casiopeia, and more!

Check out the glow-in-the-dark action! (turns out it is next to impossible to take pictures of things that glow in the dark... so I bought myself a blacklight and tuhdah! Please ignore the fact that I cant hold a camera steady for the life of me.) This guy really does glow in the dark after being "charged" by a light too.

Week 38 - Jello Pudding Pop!

27 years ago tonight a new television show hit the airways that changed the way we looked at the American family. Considered the biggest hit of the 1980s' by TV Guide, the Cosby Show was both educational and family friendly unlike most other situation comedy's of the time and opened up the door for people like Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey, and Ray Romano. Sure there wasn't a single character in the entire show sporting the first nor last name of Cosby... but who am I to judge?

Personally I admire Bill Cosby for his love of Jello Pudding Pops, chocolate cake, crazy sweaters, and the darnedest things that kids say. That and his stand up comedy. Yes, I know that most of his albums came out before I was born, but I used to laugh along to his jokes on my brick-sized MP3 player as I scrubbed floors as a summer job during college. I really like his albums, Why Is There Air and Bill Cosby: Himself.

Week 37 - National Talk Like a Pirate Day

Week 35 - Tymunnosaurus Rex

Rawr! I'm a Tymunnosaurus!

A doctor (the academic kind... not the turn your head and cough kind) and a rocket scientist were having a debate over which dinosaur, a T-Rex or a Triceratops, was superior. No. This is not the set up to a bad joke. This actually happened, or so I was told by that doctor... an old friend from college. I knew immediately that whichever offered up the debate must have been pro-triceratops, 'cause, lets be honest... to us uneducated types... T-Rex is the obvious choice. Apparently the Triceratops was crowned the winner at the end of that debate... but I disagree... to me, It's all about the battlefield...

For instance, a T-Rex would win, hands down (pun intended) in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Triceratops could only every throw rock.
